Labuan Bajo is a small fishing town located on the most Western side of Flores island. What used to be a sleepy port for fisherman is now a crossroads for avid divers and adventure seekers. The town offers a vibrant restaurant scene of Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Greek and Indonesian Western fusion.
Getting around town is easy. You can rent a motorbike (75.000 per day) or use a taxi (50.000 IDR per drive) or motorbike taxis ( 5 – 10.000 IDR per drive).
The best way to reach Labuan Bajo is by plane. Komodo National Airport (LBJ) receives daily flights from Jakarta,Bali and Surabaya. The airport is only a 5 min. drive from the city center.
