Covid-19 prevention at Manta Rhei

While we are continued to be confronted by the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to keep diving dreams alive for all our customers and have taken extra steps to ensure that we meet the latest requirements on hygiene and cleaning standards to combat COVID-19. We are reducing the capacity of divers on our daily trip boat Yolande to maximum 10 divers to ensure social distancing and maintain proper safety and hygiene rules. Our liveaboard Cajoma IV has a maximum capacity of 8 divers.

booking and arrival

Manta Rhei will ensure you are well informed about your trip before arrival and planning your visit to the shop for check in. hand sanitiser dispensers will be available at the shop during the check in process. All our surfaces in the shop will be sanitised before and after every check in. Equipment that is used for testing such as masks, boots etc. are disinfected before and after every use. 

Our shop will have a maximum amount of people allowed inside according to local regulations and we would ask our guests to wait outside.

procedure

Every guests will have their own designated dive equipment place at the back of the boat. Moving around the boat will be in a one way direction that will be explained in more detail during the boat briefing in the morning. Proper signage on the boat will help to inform guests of our policies.

Our daily boat Yolande has plenty of space on the sundeck on the top and lounge area at the front of the boat to ensure social distancing. We would only ask to bring your personal towel for hygiene purposes.

Our staff will be trained for enhanced COVID-19 awareness and will wear personal protection equipment during the trip. They will make sure the deck and resting areas are being sanitised before and after every dive.

All dive equipment will be handled carefully by our staff and thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant after the dives. In accordance with DAN recommendations masks, snorkels and certain parts of the regulator will be sanitised in a 10% bleach solution.
