Explore Komodo on an epic diving adventure with our newest Phinisi safari boat built in 2015. Cruise between 29 stunning islands and dive in one of the most pristine, final frontier areas of the world. Visit the legendary Komodo dragons that gave the park it’s famous status and feel like you’re back in the Jurassic age.
Diving in Komodo is out of this world. On this 4 day / 3 night cruise we will make sure you will see the hidden treasures of Komodo’s under water world.
From aquarium calm conditions to thrilling current dives. The variety is endless and no dive is the same. Come eye to eye with the gentle mantas, gaze at the sharks patrolling the reefs or dream away in Komodo’s never-ending under water garden.
To provide maximum safety and fun we dive in small groups: max. 4 divers per guide according to experience level and conditions. All guides dive with a Nautilus Lifeline: a submersible Radio & GPS that can contact the boat from the surface at anytime, anywhere. Our experienced guides meticulously plan out the dives so we can for example have the tides in our favor to increase the chance of seeing mantas.
Every day our cooking team prepares delicious buffet style meals 3 to 4 times a day that are a variation of Indonesian traditional cuisine and Western style food. The food is different every day and we will make sure you will eat like kings.
Diving & exploring Komodo by liveaboard is one of the finest ways to experience Komodo National Park. Our safari boat departs from the small harbor town of Labuan Bajo for an excting 4 Day / 3 night trip.
We make sure you get the most out of your trip by planning a maximum amount of diving. In total you are able to do 14 dives plus a visit to the komodo dragons and flying foxes. We have tailormade a schedule that covers all of the dive highlights of Komodo from drift diving with mantas and sharks to finding the most amazing critters on the muck dives.
You will have the convenience of waking up in the park and the advantage of being one of the first on the dive site. A liveaboard gives you the flexibility to enter the dive sites on the right tide and have long relaxing surfaces intervals.
A typical trip would look as followed:
Our journey starts at 9.00 AM leaving Labuan Bajo harbor and heading towards the park. After a welcome drink and introduction of the crew and boat we get ready for the first dives of the trip.
The best opportunity to see the giant lizards of Komodo is during the morning. The local ranger will tell you everything you want to know about these living fossils. During the walk on Rinca we make stops at the dragons nest and some magnificent views over the park. A perfect way to start the day!
An intense day of 5 exhilarating dives to some of Komodo’s most famous sites.
Last day of the trip with more amazing dive sites. Around 5:00 pm the boat is back in the harbour

We are a Belgian family with a passion for diving. It all started 18 years ago, when Benny took his first diving course in Belgium. He traveled the world diving in almost every continent and became an instructor. Later he introduced the whole family into the world of diving and they followed his footsteps.
Today, this young diving center has Benny, Jules, Tino, Michelle and Willy working as PADI instructors and Obi and Alex as Divemasters guiding and teaching divers in the Komodo National Park. The local boat staff all put their hands together to make it a safe and fun trip every day! Returning back from the trip, Rina helps organize the next day and makes you relax the day in the shop with a drink and a small snack.
